WMV to AVI: How to Convert WMV to AVI Format?

 

Windows Media Video (WMV) is a compressed video compression format for several proprietary codecs developed by Microsoft. The original video format, known as WMV, was originally designed for Internet streaming applications, as a competitor to RealVideo.

Steps:

  1. Download RipToo Video Converter, install and run it.

  1. Add WMV files.

Click “Add Files” button on the toolbar. Select your WMV files and load them into the converter.

  1. Set output format.

Click “Profile” drop-down list to select. You also can set the output format in Target Format column.

  1. Configure output parameters.

You can set the output effect by Profile Settings---Advanced Profile Settings, on the top right of the RipToo Video Converter window.

  1. Choose output folder.

Click "Browse..." button to create a new folder or choose a folder for saving your converted video files.

  1. Convert.

Click the “convert” button button副本.jpg on the toolbar to start the WMV to AVI conversion. You can check the converting process in “status” column.
